The word fairy houses and witches are called in but even with the Sardinian name forrus or forreddus. Are often linked together to form real necropoli underground to reach the forty graves, with a common corridor for access and un'anticamera. This can be very spacious and high ceiling. Were found more than 2400 scattered throughout the island, but many remain to be excavated. Archaeologists claim that they have been built between the fourth and third millennium BC They were much used before the call Ozieri culture. It seems to be the fruit of a people very industrious and peaceful, certainly came from the sea, addicted to agriculture and not to pasture, with a particular religion imported from the place of origin. It seems to worship the Sun and the Taurus, symbols of male power, the Moon and the Mother Mediterranea, symbols of female fertility. Stylized statues of Mother Goddess have been often found in these tombs and places of worship. Groticelle carved on rock, close to each other, as to recreate a true necropolis, and although there are all over the Mediterranean, buying a value of unity in Sardinia, having regard to the valuable and accurate work in their own areas, and recreation of a fully similar to the dwellings of the living, but on a smaller scale. This allows us to get an idea of what might be the case of the Sardinian five thousand years ago. The bodies of the dead were placed in fetal position, after having been painted red, and it was accompanied by items that were owned by them in life, as it is likely that these people imagined a continuation of life after death; and this is the sense of procedure red, a symbol of blood and therefore regeneration. E 'also likely that the populations in question scarnificazione practice before the deposition in the tomb.
